Just Liverpool in 1988 for me. The end of a long unbeaten run and the biggest gate of the season too. No doubt Matt saw the Vale game............

Yes also there in 1988, when the mighty reds were Liverpool on their way to another title. Packed FP. Also at Swindon in 1993 as a late goal cost us the draw. That proving very costly come the end of the season, with Swindon rubbing salt into our wounds by winning the pay offs & going up!!! I'm not bitter of course!!! And yes, there for the massacre of Port Vale in 1999, when I left a work colleagues wedding reception early to get to the game!!!

With Burgess, Clarke and Whatmough ahead of him Davies' chances at Pompey are limited, especially if Swindon's Thompson completes move to Fratton Park - Davies could join Tranmere?
