'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cuts began now departures start...nearing the end?

Fresh from his international call-up Erik Huseklepp is to become the first departure of the latest administration era.

Well, The News 'understands' this anyway...

They report that a move was organised by former CEO David Lampitt before he was made redundant.

It also says that he was 'shocked' by the development and 'had not asked to leave' but is now travelling to Birmingham for training and will sign a 3-month loan deal 'with the view to a permanent transfer' in the summer.

An already threadbare squad had already gone beyond 'bare bones', so what is it now...

Will we even have a side to face Leeds at the weekend?!

With the money running out, the club already in the relegation places, the players 'motivation' to perform now seriously questionable - and to be fair, despite the riches they get, in some ways understandable - you would have to think that relegation to league one is the 'best case' scenario for Portsmouth Football Club now?

That is if we even make it to the end of the season!

Money available to PFC will only take us through to mid April...

Even if we see out this season, and are relegation, then from the fans forum last night there is a possibility that our remaining parachute money WILL NOT be given to the club and instead shared among the premier league clubs, should they agree to this as I am pretty sure they would!

'Bleak' is one of many words I could use now.

I have been worried about our future before but this time I am not convinced that there is a way back with it seemingly only a matter of time as to when, and not if, PFC as we know it ceases to exist...

A player (possibly provided by another club) will be arriving very soon.

As I believe I said before Birch is there for the courts preference'd HMRC, not for the club. I would be very interested to hear DL and Appy's view on things

Well lets be honest here..a good player, but not crucial. HE certainly missed several chances against Blackpool, that someone else might have scored..However that is not to decry him, but needs must. Hopefully that will be it..the deal states with view to a permanant move but does not demand a deal be done and it could be a good move to get him off the wage bill, get a loan in with a PL club paying the wages, he gets more experiance in a team going for promotion, then we get him back, and better for the experiance.
