The home game cup game win over Bradford in 1988. We are all hoping for a kind QF draw & got Luton away on their plastic pitch & we lost! The home draw with Leicester in 1993 was painful. A very late from them became quite costly come the end of the season, compounded by them beating us in the play offs. A great 3-3 draw at Swindon in 1999, always a good day out. And another nail in the coffin as we lost to Stoke in the prem in 2010.

Northampton (h) - Securing home advantage?

Some could view this as a 'dead rubber!' It isn't as Champions Northampton will want to end on a high and Pompey will want 'an advantage' against Plymouth in the play-offs. Right?

Pompey MotM at Hartlepool

Pompey went into the penultimate game with a slim chance of a top 3 finish. A 2-0 win at Hartlepool saw the Blues do what we needed but wins for others ended those chances.

Jeepers keepers! Freebie options explored

An emergency loan arrival of a goalie has been ruled out by the Football League but this doesn't mean a free agent cannot be signed by Pompey should a suitable option be found?
