Pompey predictions league update #27

Pompey predictions league update #27

The Pompey predictions league carried on with a midweek trip to Birmingham.

Few, maybe I am a naïve exception to the rule, would have hoped for something so when we were narrowly beaten it was not a surprise.

We were worthy of a point but could not hold out and slipped to a late 1-0 defeat, which saw a few pick up some points.

PompeyFrippy, jsander48 and pompeyyong all got a full house of 14pts apiece for predicting a correct 1-0 defeat.

His good week allowed PompeyFrippy to retain top spot for a 27th game running on 94pts overall.

This is how the table, of 59 at present, currently stands:

A few games coming up in the next week or so makes it worthwhile predicting again as lot could happen.

Pompey Predictions League - update #2

The Pompey Predictions League is part of this site now isn't it. Would it be the same without? This continued with a defeat at Oxford with a visit from Walsall next.

The Walsall Low Down

Walsall's away record makes good reading for Pompey, who need to pick themselves up after last Saturday's defeat at Oxford.

Playing to Lowe's strengths

Lowe looked good when he came on against Rochdale but his sending off resulted in a ban - this suspension didn't apply to the Checkatrade Trophy when he scored two against Fulham.
