News after Snooze- 15/8/06

News after snooze- is a new feature on Vital Pompey. It should be posted before you travel into work, enabling you enough time to read it.

Some people will buy their favourite paper and others will buy a couple in hope that at least one has a bit of Pompey news in it. This article will basically recommend what paper you should buy, as far as Pompey news goes anyway.

Today is a bad example of how this article will work as multiple newspapers are reporting that Pompey will complete the signing of Kanu on a free transfer today. Saying that Kanu would go straight into Saturdays match against Blackburn.

I would recommend buying the Daily Mirror today as it has an article suggesting that Sylvain Distin will decide whether he wants to move to Middlesborough in a four million pound deal. (This could alert Portsmouth into the availability of the player.)

If you see any other Pompey News today email me at lesmatthewspfc@hotmail.com and I will update the story.

this aint inside info never said it was??? If you don't like it don't read it, simple! You can either do it this way above or you can write a big long article about a rumour that isn't going to be true. This way we can discuss rumours, like i said you don't like this new feature don't read it 1,000 people on average read every article if 900 of them like it then im happy!

Who are these two posters with their claws out?? Journos for opposing sites? Keep up the posting Les, having something to read is better than sitting in an office with some well thumbed copy of the Sun doing the rounds.

I think it's a good idea but one that will fizzle out as it will be too much work to keep going.

cheers you two! U might be right pompeyscum but i'll give it a go. It's the same with every artcile, some will like it, some will love it, some will hate it etc... Whatever people think of it i just want them to discuss the issues raised by it. As for other sites journos there are bound to be a few because it's so easy to post on this site, no effort!

Vital Football Admin deleted the comments as they were personal and not necessary. If people don't like the site, don't use it. There is no need to abuse the editors whilst on the site. If you want to debate, go ahead, if you want to slate individuals, go elsewhere!

I am off at the moment but otherwise, unless it's in the times dont yaknow i probably wont see it, still it will make interesting reading at lunch. Les i do think you or anyone from Vital football should remove those comments though, not everyone will agree with you all the time, i know i havent regards some of your exclusives but for a web site to work it takes all sorts. In this case they had absoloutely nothing positve to contribute so just leave them for people to see what they are, and as you can see from Tantona people can. I think removing them will add credibilty to the knockers

Evans - Right back or right midfield?

Drew Talbot and Adam Buxton are fit but Gareth Evans continues to fill in at right back. Should this change? If so where would it leave the battle between Evans and Carl Baker?
