Administration, for the second time in a couple of years and third time in less than 15-years, is something that Pompey seem destined for...
This is something, as he told Radio Solent, that Appy is 'prepared' for: 'I am prepared for administration.'
With this would come a points penalty; 10pts is being bandied about although a number of people fear that this will actually be more?
Our argument will, and always should, be that the football leagues 'fit and proper persons' test passed CSI as both 'fit' and 'proper' to be football club owners - given our recent history then for them to allow yet another bunch in that were not up to the task needs to see them hold some accountability.
It goes without saying that a points penalty will come, it is part and parcel of the process, but if it can be 'as little' as 10pts then we at least have a fighting chance of survival this season...
Well, depending on what players are 'loaned out with the option to buy' of course!
And survival, should admin come, is what Appy is aiming for and knows that Portsmouth Football Club will fight to the death: 'at some point something has got to give, somewhere along the line.
'I wouldn't be doing my job correctly if I wasn't prepared for administration. I am well aware that if negotiations don't go to plan and there isn't money to pay the tax bill then that could be the situation.
'If it does, we will deal with it like we always do and there will be a plan put in place to keep the spirit high at the club and we will keep fighting right to the death.'
Appy has also told 'would be' owners that it is time for them to 'put their money where their mouth is' and if they are genuinely interested in taking over they should do this: 'we are still looking for interested parties and for people to put their money where their mouth is.
'It's one thing being interested in taking over a football club and it is another having the money available to buy one. It's frustrating and the clock is ticking now as we have nine or 10 days before the hearing.'
Rumours were going around ahead of the Birmingham game that 'Pompey would be in admin by midnight,' that did not prove to be the case but it does seem only a matter of time before this happens again...
It would indeed appear that we can go into admin again, even though it would mean that the original CVA was not honoured - although I am told that the original CVA would in actual fact remain in place, that stays secured, it is just the creditors that are owed money since the last admin process that have to agree on a new CVA so in effect will would have two CVA's?
All gets too complicated for more!
Application for admin could be opposed, although it would 'seem' this would not happen - what I do hope is blocked this time though is that Admin Andy is blocked from being the appointed administrator this time...

i agree to a degree that admin is our 'only way out' and the probable only way we 'survive' but is it the option that will really give us a long-term future, or will it just see us limp along again? wasnt admin last time meant to do that?
from what i can understand the original CVA will STAY in place, that will not be rewritten, the exisiting debts - of which there are quite a few piling up again - would be written into another CVA, so we would in effect have two CVA's to pay off?
all the while the 'secured creditors' such as chainrai and gaydarlek are owed their millions there is never a way out is there?
