Pompey predictions league update #26 (REMINDER)

The Pompey predictions league continued with a trip to London Road Peterborough recently.

Given our away form not much could have been expected, or could it?

To be honest with you given Posh's recent slide and the amount of goals they concede, even though we are hardly prolific, you kind of felt that maybe this could be where we picked up a rare away win - and indeed we did with a comprehensive 3-0 win!

A number were positive so picked up points.

He might have failed to score again but PompeyFrippy still retained top spot for a 26th game running on 80pts overall.

This is how the table, of 58 at present, currently stands:

Keep keeping on guys, we have a couple of games in a matter of days to predict for too!

Remember anyone can enter at any time so just because you missed out on predicting for the last game with Peterborough it is not too late, simply joining for the next league game against Birmingham tomorrow and then Blackpool at the weekend.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.

On this day in history...26th June

A look back at this day in history, and what was happening with Pompey courtesy of our sister site PompeyRama, 26th June.

Main man for Pompey? I wouldn't think so

Harsh? Maybe, but do I really feel ex-Middlesbrough, Doncaster and Oldham forward Main will be in Pompey's 1st team, becoming a key member of Jackett's starting XI? Well, no.

Interest in Plymouth midfielder? Unfortunately not

Apparently, having stolen the League Two title from Plymouth, we'll not be taking the Pilgrims' best player, ex-Celtic midfielder Carey, currently out-of-contract at Home Park.
