Pompey predictions league update #26

The Pompey predictions league continued with a trip to London Road Peterborough last weekend.

Given our away form not much could have been expected, or could it?

To be honest with you given Posh's recent slide and the amount of goals they concede, even though we are hardly prolific, you kind of felt that maybe this could be where we picked up a rare away win - and indeed we did with a comprehensive 3-0 win!

A number were positive so picked up points.

He might have failed to score again but PompeyFrippy still retained top spot for a 26th game running on 80pts overall.

This is how the table, of 58 at present, currently stands:

Keep keeping on guys, we have a couple of games in a matter of days to predict for too!

Posh brought the end to the month too so it was 'manager of the month' time, this was won by jsander48 who scored an impressive 20pts - contact me for your monthly prize details.

Remember anyone can enter at any time so just because you missed out on predicting for the last game with Peterborough it is not too late, simply joining for the next league game against Hull tomorrow and then Birmingham on the Tuesday to follow.

I have made it even easier for you to get involved by putting the forum links for these games below...

Duo sign professional Pompey deals

Will Jez Bedford and Theo Widdrington be the future Pompey midfield? We'll certainly hope so, clearly the Blues do too or they wouldn't have signed professional deals at Fratton Park.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.

Main man for Pompey? I wouldn't think so

Harsh? Maybe, but do I really feel ex-Middlesbrough, Doncaster and Oldham forward Main will be in Pompey's 1st team, becoming a key member of Jackett's starting XI? Well, no.
