3. With my mate Dave, we went down to Bath, midweek to see us lose to Bristol Rovers in 1992, Strange match. Prior to the game we found the players hotel & had a drink with manager Jim Smith. 2000 & a wonderful hat rick by Steve Claridge and sadly there in 2004 when we lost to a last minute penalty against the scum.

Main man for Pompey? I wouldn't think so

Harsh? Maybe, but do I really feel ex-Middlesbrough, Doncaster and Oldham forward Main will be in Pompey's 1st team, becoming a key member of Jackett's starting XI? Well, no.

Interest in Plymouth midfielder? Unfortunately not

Apparently, having stolen the League Two title from Plymouth, we'll not be taking the Pilgrims' best player, ex-Celtic midfielder Carey, currently out-of-contract at Home Park.
