Pompey predictions league update #25

The Pompey predictions league continued with a trip to Cardiff last weekend.

Our away form has been 'poor', to say the least this season - well in many a year, on the whole, really - so few would have expected anything. So, whilst we may have been lucky had we managed this it was still gutting that a last gasp goal denied us a point...

Most predicted a defeat, so most were right, with a number collecting something for that. Some also collecting points for getting a goalscorer right.

For the first time in a while PompeyFrippy managed to score points, even without this he would have retained top spot for a 27th game running on 80pts overall.

This is how the table, of 57 at present, currently stands:

No Rotherham grudge for Jackett

Rotherham - where he was in charge for a brief 39-day spell - were the last club for Kenny Jackett before Pompey. He's set for a return this afternoon in another tough game.

A look back at this day in history, and what was happening with Pompey courtesy of our sister site PompeyRama, 20th January.

No midfield addition...ahead of Rotherham anyway

With Rose out for the season, on-loan Cardiff man O'Keefe for the next three months, a defensive midfielder is needed, right? They could arrive, but not ahead of Rotherham tomorrow.

Blues' line up at Rotherham?

The Pompey season continued with a draw against Scunthorpe. Well, that has been and gone so we move forward and go again against Rotherham in, obviously in League One, on Saturday.
