The home games with Boro, Orient & Burnley. Most memorable was the cup win over Orient in 1992 with a brilliant goal from Darren Anderton.

I went to Blackburn in 1969 - what 'memorable' trip that was. Special train took nine hours we arrived at game late after special buses were laid on to rush us from the station. Pompey were soon losing and played dismally. On top of that it poured with rain all day!

Add to that Middlesbrough and Burnley.

Duo sign professional Pompey deals

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.
