'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Or is it Razak?

Early reports today, emanating from early hours 'rumours' in The Mail, were saying that Kelvin Etuhu would be the one in for one out signing by Pompey this week?

Etuhu the one if for one out? - here.

Although BBC sport now 'understands' that Pompey are one of three clubs looking to bring Abdul Razak in on loan?

Blackpool and Brighton are also 'said' to be interested in the 19-year-old who will 'make up his mind in the coming days' where he wants this loan to be...

'Maybe' we have the upper hand having already had him on loan this season, then again this loan did not go entirely to plan and it is thought that he, and Citeh, were not impressed with his lack of action during his brief stint last year?

Although to be fair Appy was not around for much of this loan but did speak highly of him, and used him in the right way towards the end of this loan, and Appy had said he would bring him back if he could.

I know Razak did not shine at first, but I am more than convinced that he was a better player than we saw at Fratton, and used in a central position he would be very creative for us and bring us what we have seriously missed this season.

Yep, if we can bring him back - ideally until the end of the season - I would be more than happy.

Got to agree Rug. I would much rather have Razak than Etuhu, and seeing that we loaned Thorne for the centre as a creative player (similar style players), this one seems the more likely option. Lets hope he will be happy to come back.

Abdul Razak, big strong lad in the style of Yaya Toure, needs some experience at a higher level than he is playing now. I hope it is AR as it would benefit both clubs.

Abdul is going to be a star ... if you do get hin make sure he is in the centre. He will be a powerhouse like Ya Ya Toure or Patrick Viera

Why not both? I know the FL has said one in one out, but surely it's all down to money, say Herman was on 10k a week then surely we might be able to bring in 4 at 2.5k a week? I don't know, just thought I'd throw that one out there.

Would Razak come back, I'd like to think so but he and Man City were pretty disillusioned about not getting games on his previous sojourn south.
