Etuhu the one in for one out?

Growing 'reports' were that Man City were the club that we were turning to for our next arrival, the one in for the one out (The Herminator).

In a roundabout way, assuming the report from The Mail is correct, we have taken the Citeh route...

Although this connection is via an 8-month prison sentence!

It is 'said' that free agent Kelvin Etuhu, who was convicted of assault in March 2011 and subsequently released by Citeh and sent to prison, is the man that we have turned to?

Nothing official yet but these 'reports' are starting to grow that Appy is giving the midfielder, who can also play up front, the chance to rebuild his career and also add a creative element to our squad.

Pompey are not in administration though, something that The Mail report said that we were!

Also, there is still some confusion as to who made the 'double bid', that was rejected, for Joel Ward and Jason Pearce?

It was claimed to be Watford but this has seemingly been denied with it thought it was actually Ipswich, who had shown their interest this week - either way the important thing is this was rejected!

I hadn't seen this one ( if true) as a swap for HH and can only assume its cos Muggins is injured as is Mok- so there is a small silver lining then.

I hope we don't get a lot of anti ex con stuff, we wish he hadn't assaulted someone, I should imagine he wishes he hadn't assaulted someone. Hopefully he can help Pompey and help rebuild his career; in the mean time I recall listening and reading all those holier than thou types who cheared LuaLua a month after he beat his wife up.

NUFC in for hendo now...Vultures circling as take over appears to have collapsed....well according to "knowledgable " posters on other sites...but it is looking iffy and the siting of the Gaydamak land spectre is plausable...not happy bunny today...if this doesnt work this time it's AFC P time
