2 games for me the most memorable being the 1980 FA Cup match with Div 1 'Boro. Just a mere 13 year old crammed into a very full Fratton Park. Certainly more there that 31,000. A great night & we nearly nicked it. And not as memorable, the deadley duo of Guy & Paul beating Real Southend in 1993.

Another equally memorable cup tie for me - this one the replay at Swindon in 1974 kick off 1:30 because of three day week - pitch ankle deep in mud and a certain Malcolm Manley seemed to just stroll around breaking up every home attack. Bobby Kellard got the winner.

Middlesboro too and Hemmerman's 'winner' was never off-side!

No More Quarter Final Replays For Pompey

Should Portsmouth progress through to an FA Cup quarter final from the 2016/17 season onwards, the game will no longer be subject to a replay.

Chesterfield's O'Shea targeted

Although so far Pompey have had two bids turned down for Chesterfield's O'Shea. Will, assuming another bid (as it's expected) is made, it be third time luck for the Blues?

It wasn't Real Madrid but Bristol City isn't bad!

Contrary to what I just wrote (muppet that I am) this isn't at Fratton this is at Ashton Gate with Pompey heading to Bristol City on Saturday 30th July, with a 3pm kick-off.
