'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Like a new signing!

New arrivals this month will be at a premium, if we see any?

So to have any come through that were already here anyway will make them more or less new signings anyway really.

The main one that we can point to is young Marko Futacs.

He has come into he side in the last couple of games, played well and most importantly scored some goals!

Lets not get carried away with him though just yet but with more games and a greater appreciation of what is expected of him and what the English game is all about he should improve still and we could find we have a decent young player on our hands here.

Work on his first touch is most definitely needed, sometimes more thought needed with the pass he will make but his hold-up play is good and being in the right place at the right time has seen him bag a couple of goals in as many games and as a striker can you ask anymore of them?

His major floor is his mobility, or should I say lack of it!

He is about as mobile as a tortoise with broken legs but like I say holding up the ball like he has to bring others into play and being in 'the right place at the right time' to score will do me. I am happy with that.

Whatever though Marko Futacs' breakthrough into the 1st team makes him like a new signing...

If he does what it says on the label, score goals, I wouldnt care less if he played on a mobility scooter. He is a striker, goals win games.

Oh and one more thing, he has the shortest legs I have ever seen for someone so tall. The body of a giant the legs of a dwarf.

If he keeps scoring we'll end up selling him on this month. LOL.
