Happy New Year to everyone connected with Vital & Pompey. All the home games from 1985 & the nightmare of the 4-4, enough said. To the draw with Spurs in 2007.

Pompey's first new years day bank holiday game came against Hull City in 1972 - it was a bore draw and how I wished that the idea had been forgotten - only 8,000 there too proved a point. After that there Cardiff, Oxford, Aldershot, Plymouth, Fulham, Reading, Arsenal, Norwich and Spurs. Think that makes ten I think.

No-one will ever forget the Fulam game in 1985
