Pompey predictions league update #19

The Pompey predictions league continued last weekend with Pompey securing another win!

Our first win on the road since March, which also meant us winning back-to-back games for the first time since then as well, came with a 1-0 win at Burnley courtesy of Chuck's injury-time winner.

A few picked up points with PompNut the big winner, a perfect week saw 16pts collected and him shot up to 2nd in the table closing the gap on the leader to just 14pts!

PompeyFrippy again failed to score but still retained top spot for a 19th game running on 64pts overall.

This is how the table, of 49 at present, currently stands:

As PompNut showed a 'perfect' week and you shoot up the table with Frippy now just 14pts ahead of him!

Duo sign professional Pompey deals

Will Jez Bedford and Theo Widdrington be the future Pompey midfield? We'll certainly hope so, clearly the Blues do too or they wouldn't have signed professional deals at Fratton Park.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.

Main man for Pompey? I wouldn't think so

Harsh? Maybe, but do I really feel ex-Middlesbrough, Doncaster and Oldham forward Main will be in Pompey's 1st team, becoming a key member of Jackett's starting XI? Well, no.
