'If It's Football, It's Vital'

I '4-1' would have mixed thoughts...

With Scum coming to town at the end of this week any 'weakness' that we can expose is something we would have to do - you can rest assured they will look to expose our weaknesses, and we do have 'some'...

So, having seen the performance of their keeper Bartosz Bialkowski against Blackpool at the weekend you would be forgiven for thinking he is just that, 'a weakness'.

His clown-likes performance reminded me of clown we once had in goal, the Greek keeper Konstantinos Chalkias.

My initial thoughts were 'I do hope he plays next weekend' but it does seem that he is actually a pretty decent keeper with a lot of Scum fans rating him quite highly so there is always that worry that he will play a blinder against us?

That said if he is low on confidence and has abuse - within an acceptable level that does not overstep the mark of course - hurled at him from all-around he could well crack again?

All in all though at the end of the day he is just one man, and they have enough outfield players to hurt us and we are hardly potent in front of goal are we anyway...

If he does play, which it would 'seem' is unlikely anyway as Kelvin Davis is 'meant' to be fit, then the message must be quite a simple one, put him under pressure!

We do this by getting crosses into the box and plenty of shots put in his direction to see what he really is made of...then just hope he is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard again!

No worry Kelvin Davis is a poor keeper too!! Either one will have backache next Sunday lunchtime!!

Our inefficient goals on target strike flatters most keepers. Appy's chance to become a legend - some grab greatness - some have it thrust upon them - OR- if Perrin can do it so can anyone :-)
