Pompey predictions league update #18

The Pompey predictions league continued last weekend with Appy's first win as Pompey manager.

I cannot say it was the most 'entertaining' of games but the main thing was that we picked up the 3pts, and a 2-1 win over Coventry meant that we did this!

Pretty much everyone that predicted picked up something, just a couple failed to secure any points as they either went with a draw or a home defeat - most got something for a win at least, with some collecting an extra couple of points for a goalscorer...

PompeyFrippy failed to score again but still retains top spot for an 18th game running on 64pts overall.

This is how the table, of 49 at present, currently stands:

Again no real movement among the top 3 but again some in the chasing pack.

Duo sign professional Pompey deals

Will Jez Bedford and Theo Widdrington be the future Pompey midfield? We'll certainly hope so, clearly the Blues do too or they wouldn't have signed professional deals at Fratton Park.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.
