'If It's Football, It's Vital'
Football league to determine out fate?
So, today is the day then when we 'should' find out if the football league are going to give us a points penalty for CSI's administration?
The football league board meet today, and as The Mail puts it, 'Portsmouth's financial crisis will be on the agenda' - as you would expect.
Although you would also hope that the footballing authorities also look at their own role in this latest 'crisis' as the powers that be quite clearly do have a case to answer...
We have been told a couple of times that it is not 'expected' that this (a points penalty) will be the case but the main message has been that as a football club, for so many reasons for so many people, we need to know 'sooner rather than later' what is happening!
What is under consideration is what 'the connection between Vladimir Antonov's company Convers Sports Initiatives' and PFC actually is, such is a 'connection' that - like I say - many have said that a points penalty is not something they foresee but time will tell I guess?
Obviously the general, and overall, future of Portsmouth Football Club is our main concern but a 10pt penalty would of course see us drop into the relegation zone...

I actually am not convinced a points deduction would see us down. Abrams tactics relegated us last time, too many games list be negative changes in the second half, not the points deduction.

Whilst 10pts wouldn't see us down, a fire sale in Jan would...The day's are starting to seem as dark as the weather at the moment

What's the betting that no decision is made today, surely it's too early to know the ins and outs of the financial web. The League will not want to say no penalty at this stage and then have more egg on their faces later. Pup.

agrre with penton, very worried about firesale in January to priovide funds. Is there enoigh time to a new owner in place?
