surely with our finances its got to be home to a top 4 team having won all our games so tv picks us live, draw at home followed by a financially lucrative replay. Alternatively it will be away to Shrewsbury/Rotherham

A nice little cup run would do nicely, so hope for a nice kind of easy home draw.

The interest Pompey retained in Smith, with him 'in our sights' has resulted in him returning to the Blues on a permanent basis after signing for an 'undisclosed fee' from Swindon.

Cushioning the blow

Much, that needed saying, about Webster's exit for Ipswich and the arrival of Clarke in return (and cash) has been said hasn't it? Doyle's been spot on with what he said.

Swindon striker in 'Pompey's sights'

Michel Smith, who was of course on loan last season, could return? He's still in 'Pompey's sights' by all accounts after Swindon informed him he's 'surplus to requirements' now.
