£300k paid in agent fees

Pompey have revealed that more than £300,000 was paid in agent fees in the last year, £175,600 plus of this amount was paid for 'services'.

Full details, as issued on The Pompey, are below...

Agents' Fees
Portsmouth Football Club can confirm that it paid £300,736.83 (excluding VAT) in agents' fees for the year ending September 30 2011.

Of this amount, £175,636.83 was paid for services to the club. The remainder was paid for agency services on behalf of players.

This information is published as part of a requirement under The FA's Football Agents Regulation G15.

£3,184,725 - nearly double that of Man United. Definitely a step in the right direction.
