'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Monitoring the situation'

So then where are we?

Vladimir Antonov has been alleged of committing fraud in the region of £250m, an arrest warrant was issued, he was arrested and has appeared in court with his assets now frozen...

Suddenly I feel very 'reassured' though as The News reports that the football league are 'monitoring the situation.'

Nothing to fear, or worry about now then is there, these guys never let us down!

It is not like the football leagues fit and proper persons tests has ever 'failed' Portsmouth Football Club or anything is it...

All 'sarcasm' aside this week 'should' tell us a little more about our situation really you would think.

Why you may ask?

Well it is payday for the players and staff at Fratton...

'If' we see another case, as we have a couple of times previously, of the non-payment - or at least non-payment on time I should say - of players and staff then I think it is safe to say that there is trouble at mill!

Appy is not foreseeing this though but knows all will know if there is a problem later this week.

He has been assured that there will be no 'problem in the short and medium term' though: 'I'm sure I will have a fairer indication of how serious things are and how it will affect the football club over the coming days.

'At the minute, I'm told everything is fine from that point of view.

'I've been told there will not be a problem in the short and medium term.'

All the while that the day-to-day running costs of PFC, and any necessary payments that are needed - the CVA as per its agreement in particular - then there is no 'immediate problem' although without some investment (how much do CSI have without Antonov) this would not seem possible, lets face it we are by no means a club that is 'self sufficient' are we.

Through all of this neither the club or CSI have made any comment and this continues to be the case, although something 'should' - for all it is worth - be heard shortly?

There has been 'rumour' and 'speculation' about this, that and the other happening but pretty much, as much as we dislike it, like we have so often in the past all we can do is 'wait and see' what happens next really in the latest turbulent chapter of PFC!

Although if anyone is used to a turbulent situation it must be us Pompey fans, we are very used to this now...

Vladimir Antonov/ CSI don't own the club outright and should be sued as sould the football league give the club compensation for failing us! And as the football league failed our club any point deduction would be an insult! Time for those responsible to take responsibility! I'm fed up with the buck stopping at our club!

CSI into admin confirmed, Pompey currently still considered a seperate ltd co

Pompeys last accounts say the club is still a going concern sofor the moment points deduction not a certainty. Assuming seperate company liabilities are established- lol was that a new stadium on the back of that cow on the moon...hole or just on top of the moon - no! A whole new level...
Russellm
If CSI is the "parent company" (legal definition anyone?), then I think a points deduction is mandatory
