'Starlet' Dan Thompson to sign?

Sky sports 'understand' that Pompey are 'closing in' on the signing of Dan Thompson...

They say: 'the Hampton & Richmond striker has been attracting interest from a host of clubs in the Premier League and Football League.

'The likes of Liverpool, Newcastle, Stoke and Queens Park Rangers have all enquired about him.

'But a deal with a top-flight club has failed to materialise, so Pompey are now looking to step in for the 17-year-old.
'

Sounds good, right?

Apparently he arrived today and will be training with us as talks continue but his signing could be concluded by the end of the week...

Another non-league guy that sky sports 'understood' would be training with us this week was Omarr Lawson.

Well they 'believe' that he 'should' be training with us on Wednesday?

We will see what happens but assuming this Thompson guy has trained, and will eventually sign for us, for those premier league sides to have looked at him must mean that he has something about him so that should be good enough for us...

There is a lot of talent in non-league football at the moment as could be witnessed in the FA Cup on Saturday. All due to the number of foreign imports in the top leagues forcing british youngsters into non league.

Getting '''ked off with sky understandings, i prefer facts Could not be happier if we start to employ hungry lads with an interest in the cub and their future and not just their pockets PUP
