There for the last 4 home league games, all draws, 1995-2007. I ronically, one of the few home leagues I missed in some 25 years was in 1989, when my friend from our schooldays got married.

1967 and my first visit to Millwall - that was a real eye-opener for a sixteen year old. Add to that Luton, Port Vale, Fulham and Citeh.

Just realised too that the defeat at Millwall was the only loss on this day since the war!! Mick Travers goal was a header from outside the box that drifted over the keeper Bryan King and rolled over the line (just).

Duo sign professional Pompey deals

Will Jez Bedford and Theo Widdrington be the future Pompey midfield? We'll certainly hope so, clearly the Blues do too or they wouldn't have signed professional deals at Fratton Park.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.
