Pompey predictions league update #13

Pompey predictions league update #13

The Pompey predictions league continued at the weekend with Pompey slumping to the almost customary now away defeat, as we lost 3-1 at Derby - although it could have been worse, we looked on for an absolutely battering from The Rams after abut 30-minutes!

A good number predicted once again, although not many points were collected by that many.

PompeyFrippy collected another couple of points to retain top spot for a 13th game running on 62pts overall.

Derby also meant an end to the month, football wise, and that meant it was predictions league manager of the month time - something that Frippy won again for a third successive month - his selected prize was a signed Svetoslav Todorov mount to add to the previously won Linvoy Primus and Alan Knight ones!

This is how the table, of 49 at present, currently stands:

Still all to play for as things can change very quickly, even at the top!

I'm building quite the dream team on my wall at the moment! Cheers for running this Rug, and thanks again for the prizes, they'll look great in my Pompey Shrine Room.

Duo sign professional Pompey deals

Will Jez Bedford and Theo Widdrington be the future Pompey midfield? We'll certainly hope so, clearly the Blues do too or they wouldn't have signed professional deals at Fratton Park.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.
