Two hat-tricks for me - now that is spooky!!Blackburn in 1970 and Wigan in 2009. Plus Fulham and Sheff Wed.

Home to Sheff Wed in 1987 during our fateful season in the top flight. At Chelsea in 1990 for a midweek league cup game, which seems like yesterday. The home defeat to Swindon in 1997, dark days, under 9,000 crowd. Personally a nightmare game with Wigan 2 years ago as I got ejected at half time!!!

Done Deal - Smith in permanently from Swindon

The interest Pompey retained in Smith, with him 'in our sights' has resulted in him returning to the Blues on a permanent basis after signing for an 'undisclosed fee' from Swindon.

Cushioning the blow

Much, that needed saying, about Webster's exit for Ipswich and the arrival of Clarke in return (and cash) has been said hasn't it? Doyle's been spot on with what he said.

Swindon striker in 'Pompey's sights'

Michel Smith, who was of course on loan last season, could return? He's still in 'Pompey's sights' by all accounts after Swindon informed him he's 'surplus to requirements' now.
