Yep, its true Razak is in on loan

Well, well, well sky sports and what they 'understood' has proven to be true!

Despite us having no manager, well a permanent one, we have signed Abdul Razak on loan from Man City.

He has come in on loan for a month, with The Pompey Site telling all below...

Manchester City Starlet Joins Pompey

Abdul Razak has joined Pompey on loan from Manchester City for a month.

The 18-year-old attacking midfielder - who will wear the number 14 shirt for the Blues - is available for Pompey's Championship clash at Derby on Saturday.

Razak, who was born in Ivory Coast, has made four appearances for City, playing 85 minutes of their 5-2 Carling Cup win at Wolves on Wednesday night.

Pompey co-caretaker manager Guy Whittingham said: "Abdul is a gifted midfield player who Manchester City think very highly of.

"It's a great opportunity for him to come here and get some experience and we're looking forward to him being part of the squad.

"We're very fortunate to have him and we're grateful to Manchester City for that."

City boss Roberto Mancini said: "He's a talented footballer and a very good young man. I believe he has the ability to become a very important player for Manchester City."

Razak arrived at the Etihad Stadium from Crystal Palace's youth set-up in the summer of 2010. He made his City debut as a late substitute in a Premier League win over West Brom in February.

Our OS says you have him till the end of December. Either way he's a fantastic talent and already on the fringes of our matchday squad. England also want to steal him from the Ivory Coast.

He played at Altrincham for Man City Reserves in pre-season when I was stewarding, but to be honest I don't recall too much about him. The attention was all on Bellamy that day, but a City supporting mate reckons he is a half decent player who could do well. Just interesting to see who's signing this is, I would expect it would be down to our incoming manager.

GW & SG have an influence? Couldnt see SC eyeing up a player of his calibre, unless he played for Stoke reserves lol

Look after Abdul he's a pretty special player. Only 18 but already being compared to a young Viera. He should walk into your team!
