Now to wait...

Now to wait...

Having just returned from Corfu - I got back last night - it is depressing that there is no Pompey game this weekend, well with England playing last night no football full stop!

We had the 'egg chasing' this morning with England, the less said about that the better really...

Barnsley next weekend cannot come soon enough.

Especially for me from a personal viewpoint as I have been having serious withdrawal symptoms having missed games against Blackpool, Peterborough and Leeds - even if the results were 'mixed' to say the least.

This game with Barnsley will be a real crunch game for so many!

Whilst you should never 'expect' anything from PFC, or football in general, with all due respect to Barnsley they are a side that we really should be beating at Fratton and if we do not is it really good enough?

In spite of the 'vote of confidence' that the manager has been given recently, defeat could very well spell the end of the line for him...

Bring on The Tykes, for so many reasons I cannot wait for this game - not that I will wish this week away of course!

Hm.. funny how things work out - horrible cold this weekend, would have struggled to go to football if there'd have been a game on tbh. Strange things, nasty colds, you know it won't kill you, it just feels like it will! Still I'm sure I'll be raring to go by 5.20 next Saturday, bring on the Barnsley!!!

Vital View - League 2, 29th April 2017

Plymouth moved to the top - they'll battle with Doncaster & Portsmouth to be crowned Champions. It looks as if Hartlepool will join Leyton Orient in Non-League.

Video - Mansfield 0-1 Pompey

Well, it'll go down to the wire as Pompey's win at Mansfield means the Blues, third, can still win the title ahead of (now) leaders Plymouth and Doncaster.
