What a comeback! Pompey's best?

What a comeback! Pompey's best?

So, mixed in with Ivory FC and Nivea's Great Football Experiment, we have a question, what was Pompey's best comeback ever?

You know what this is a tough one!

I can think of some 'memorable' comebacks against us, such as Fulham 4-0 down to draw 4-4 and the late Oxford comeback to deny us a crucial win in a 5-5 draw, which ultimately cost us dearly...

At this moment, off the top of my head, I am going blank for one that benefited us - must be the sun, sea and ...sand out here in Corfu!

Episode Seven of the Great Football Experiment is now out, below is the teaser and the link to the full episode:

Right, back to Pompey then eh! Ivory made a great comeback to win the other week, but what is the greatest comeback we've ever managed then?

Nope, the Pompey v Norwich game Dec 17 1966/67 season 12431 fans so my Pompey book reminds me, (Xmas shopping taking its toll?) the noise I remember in my mind sounded like many many more were there! Two girls behind me said that it wasn't this exciting at the Dell!!!

Coming back from 2 down to beat Palace at Selhurst Park with Jason Crowe scoring twice! Somehow I think the Santa games pips this though.

Northampton (h) - Securing home advantage?

Some could view this as a 'dead rubber!' It isn't as Champions Northampton will want to end on a high and Pompey will want 'an advantage' against Plymouth in the play-offs. Right?

Pompey MotM at Hartlepool

Pompey went into the penultimate game with a slim chance of a top 3 finish. A 2-0 win at Hartlepool saw the Blues do what we needed but wins for others ended those chances.

Jeepers keepers! Freebie options explored

An emergency loan arrival of a goalie has been ruled out by the Football League but this doesn't mean a free agent cannot be signed by Pompey should a suitable option be found?
