Lets hope 2-weeks makes a difference eh!

Lets hope 2-weeks makes a difference eh!

Well guys and girls, by the time that this is read I would 'expect' to soaring high on my way for a couple of week stay in Corfu! Well, at least close to take off from Exeter airport at least!

A holiday during the football season is a big no-no for me, but what could I do?

You have to keep everyone happy and the chance to tie in a holiday with your brothers wedding, he is getting married when we are away, is something I had to do...

The timing, meaning I miss back-to-back home games, starting this weekend against Blackpool and then the Tuesday night game against Peterborough is far from idea, I was always missing on as far as I was concerned, but thought it was just Posh on the Tuesday, but hey ho!

So, I will not really be around much for the next couple of weeks - the keys to Vital Pompey Towers have been handed over to Chix, eastneydave and paultsmouth who will keep you entertained.

I say that I 'will not be around much' but I am taking my netbook with me so will drop in from time to time, but not too much - at the end of the day this is a holiday, and has cost a fair bit of money, so it has got to be made the most of eh!

Without a doubt I will be listening to all games via The Pompey Site mind!

2-weeks is a long time in football, I just hope that when I return we have had some good results and the talk is a little more positive although I have to say that 'if' results do not go for us in the next Fratton games I would not be overly surprised if I returned with us actively seeking a new manager, or at least close to doing so...

I guess we will see.

Well, continue to keep getting involved with Vital Pompey, I might have swanned off to foreign climes but this site never sleeps!

While the cats away eh??

Let's hope Rug has a good holiday and of course service will continue as normal maybe with a few extras. One I am planning is to write a daily section in the 'On this day' article on one of the matches or maybe players.
