Distin Talking To Brough? No

Man City defender Distin will today hold talks with Middlesbrough.

The defender is a Pompey target but the club insist that we are yet to agree a fee for the player.

Pompey are expected to match Middlesbrough offer and are thought to be willing to pay Distin 35k a week.

The club have since denied that they have given Middlesbrough permission to speak to Distin.

Let's hope we sign him, Man City fans certainly don't seem to happy at the prospect of losing him.

apparently this isn't true, Man city have said they are not allowing Distin to talk to any other clubs...

So if Middlesbrough are talking to Distin thats illegal and they'll get done by the FA

Newcastle don't want Sol do they, so that leaves us or the European option... Come on you know the only "sol" you'll need will be in on the Coast, and not of that of France!!!

Message to Mr Campbell: the south coast is a great place to live, warm, well compared to most of the country anyway, nice & close to London if he fancies poppin home! & his mate Linvoys plays here! pls sign here.....

This is becoming ever more frustrating. We are so close to kicking off and we virtually have the squad of 2005/06....and you know where we finished with that lot !!

We can't sell the issue of Pompey to Campbell much more than we have can we. As for the Distin knock back (if we were ever in a position to be knocked back in any case?) it's another blow, but we'll come back from it, I HOPE!!! Surely we can't enter the 06/07 season with a squad that will be the same as the 05/06, well even several players lighter (not that most, almost any will be missed!)
