'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Fans Re-united' day for Plymouth Argyle

Yet again a football club is in serious financial difficulties. Once again the fans might question the validity of the potential buyers. But again fans from other clubs show that we, the supporters, are really just one big family that rallies round in time of need.

A Brighton-lead initiative to hold a Fans Re-united Day for Plymouth Argyle is gathering momentum. The idea is simple, fans from other clubs, wearing their club colours and showing solidarity, always captures media attention.

If you're not supporting your own team on Saturday 24th September then consider a visit to Home Park. At times like this rivalries seem to be an irrelevance; we're all fans and it can happen to any of our clubs.

think it more than 'worthwhile' publishing this for us on vital pompey as i think it is fair to say that we can 'relate' to their problems in many ways, altho at this point in time its looking VERY dire for them...
had i not been going on holiday i would be at our game with blackpool, had i not been at that then i would have certainly gone to home park as it is not that far from me.
pompey and plymouth have some history, and alot of people from pompey are now based in plymouth so hopefully they do their bit to help...

A great idea, and I hope it gets support. Horrible to think that other clubs have to go through what we've been through, I just hope they come out the other end in one piece.
