For me, without a doubt, Tal Ben-Haim was the best player of the pitch against Cardiff at the weekend.
His return to the Pompey side has seen him impress to be honest, on the whole - is this because he is just happy to be playing football again or is this because he wants to play football and be doing this for PFC?
Well, he reckons it is for the latter: 'I enjoy it when I play. Always.
'Last year I wanted to play but there were problems. Now we've tried to sort everything out. I'm here still and I'm happy.'
Given the money that he is on 'should' an offer come in before the transfer deadline then I would have little doubt that he would move on, will this offer come though?
Well that I cannot answer as I am not sure, I would 'guess' that clubs would be showing an interest given his form although it is the size of his wage packet that would 'probably' put clubs off I would think...
So, chances are he will still be here come September, although will others be coming in to join him?
This is something that Steve Cotterill seems to be constantly changing his mind about.
One minute it is a yes, he would like a couple more and thinks he will get one permanent and one loanee, although now he is playing down the chances of anymore coming in...
He now says: 'I don't know whether there will be any more coming in.
'It depends how much money we have, or if we have any money left. That's how it stands. I will have to wait and see.'
'Expecting' movement is not something that I will be doing but I would not 'rule it out'.
I still have this sneaky suspicion that Grant Leadbitter will arrive, although time will tell...

This makes me think that there was a bit of renegotiation with his wages that not would give him the chance to play for us and, in essence, play for his contract next season, be it with us or elsewhere. I think that he has shown he still wants to play football, and that he still has what it takes to perform at this level. I still wouldn't be surprise if he signed a long-term contract with us in January (albeit with more realistic wages).
