*Petrov Deal Not Dead*

Vital told you last week that Lua would sign a new three year contract and this week, Vital Pompey can reveal that the Petrov deal is not dead. I`m not going to lie I have no quote to back this story up but will try my best to do so at the start of next week.

Harry Redknapp had said that Pompey would look elsewhere but Vital Pompey can exclusively reveal that Pompey will go back in with one more offer. (Expect club statement Monday only here on Vital.

I think Petrov would be worth an extra million quid - considering the money we have available!

Still think scummer Gordon will derail the bid.

we made a £4.5m bid for him and Celtic's evaluation is £5m y not pay the extra 500k with the money we got thats nothing.
playuppompey14
no we made a 5 mill bid, i'm chasing the club on this one, we are going to make another bid!

How much is this guy really worth. I know he's been playing in the champions leauge, but im always a little sceptical about players from the SPL. Will he really cut it week in week out in the prem??
CharlieChimes
I think it would be good to go with 1 more bid. Even another 500 grand may sway scummer gordon. Harry wants him and it would be a shame to let him go.
POMPEYMEV
yer he did play yesterday for celtic

Whilst I respect the club for not wanting to spend over their valuation for a player, this may be one occasion where a slightly improved FINAL offer is needed. Harry wants Petrov and Celtic will lose by keeping a player who's heart is not in playing for them. A deal that will satisfy both sides is needed.

This deal isn't dead? I've seen more life in a certain Norwegian Blue :)

Throw enough carp at the wall and something will eventually stick.
Pompey4europe
Would that be one that's pining for the Fjords Tantona? lol
