Fantasy Pompey Side

As vital Pompey is set to have a massive re-vamp next week, I thought I would talk you through one of the competitions.

It is a free fantasy football game on the premier league website. Basically you register your free team (100 million to spend) you then email me (lesmatthewspfc@hotmail.com) and I will give you a code. You then click enter league and type the code in that I give you. You will then be entered into Vital Pompey fantasy football league. There will be a prize for the winner!

You don`t need to be a vital Pompey member to enter although it is preferred. Try and call your team your vital username, so everyone knows who`s team it is.

Don't worry mate. I have done it. Just incase people don't realise... you register your team and then click on "league" and in there you enter the code. Come on people, so far there is only 3 people in our league. The deadline is the opening day of the season.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.

Main man for Pompey? I wouldn't think so

Harsh? Maybe, but do I really feel ex-Middlesbrough, Doncaster and Oldham forward Main will be in Pompey's 1st team, becoming a key member of Jackett's starting XI? Well, no.
