Pompey Sign Márkó Futács

Pompey Sign Márkó Futács

It's oficial

Yep It's been confirmed by Pompey that we have signed Hungarian Striker Márkó Futács on a one year deal with an option to extend for a further two.

Márkó Futács is 21 years old and 6ft 5in tall and has represennted Hungary at U18, U20 & U21 level

He spent last season on loan at FC Ingolstadt 04 but it appears his parent club Werder Bremen have decided to deal.

Nottm Forest were also supposedly in line to sign the player but he opted for Pompey.

It is believed that this is the player that Steve Cotterill labelled 'a calculated risk with good potential'

Hard to say at this point, not many tall strikers have set the world alight, but it'll be interesting to see how he fits into SC's places. We now have 6 recognised striker! That's a strange feeling.
