Lua Signs New Deal

Lua Signs New Deal

LuaLua admitted he was pleased to end rumours about his future. Lua has put pen to paper on a three year deal.

'There has been a lot of speculation about my future but I've always wanted to remain with Pompey,' he told the club's website.

It comes on the same day that Richard Hughes signed a three year deal and we signed David Thompson on a free.

Vital Pompey was the first to inform you about Lua being set to sign a three year deal.

LL has got his new deal & no doubt a pay rise. I trust we get a full season out of him.

I'm glad we could come to an agreement, he is a quality player. Lets just hope he stays match fit and doesn't do anymore silly twisty jumpy things.

Good to finally get this situation sorted one way or the other, let's hope he'll justify his pay rise, stay injury free and play a team game more regularly. Keep doing the tricks, and taking defenders on but find that final pass more, don't try for that bit extra all the time! I have to admit the flippin' around adds character, and is good to see until he gets injured, so unless he can assure us he'll not, maybe lets not... Club should have written it into his contract that if he does do it if he injures himself he won't get paid!

Well if he makes 20 goals and scores none, he won't become a FLIPPING nuisance anymore.

Have you heard the rumor that Chelsea is buying Freddy Adu and loaning him to your club for the 1st ½ of the season?
