PFC talks with Bari confirmed!?

PFC talks with Bari confirmed!?

Yep, I am sure that a number of you have seen the 'reports' growing on t'internet about Erik Huseklepp coming to Pompey.

Fansonline says that he is 'to join Portsmouth'...

Well 'word on the street', which is coming through thick and fast, tells Vital Pompey Towers (from a journo that has spoken to 'well placed sources at Bari') that Bari have confirmed 'Pompey talks' over the striker.

A figure 'circa 1.9m Euros' is being mentioned.

No source at Pompey will 'confirm' anything and are currently 'declining to comment.'

Maybe, just maybe Huseklepp really is on his way to Fratton?

Could we even get another 'big announcement' prior to kick-off against Reading tonight...

This is sounding more and more interesting. I have a feeling that he will be announced tonight, just as you said. Looking forward to see what happens. We could be playing a new striking force by next week: Benjani and Huseklepp. Interesting.

Fingers crossed, but the right noises are certainly being made. Seen it go wrong so many times before though, I'm taking nothing for granted. In other news, shouldn't that picture read: Beware Flying Football's - Quashie's in town.

I really hope this comes off. I could see him being the missing link in cott's 433. Imagine him on the erik on the right of a 3, with benji in the centre and varney on the left. I could really see that working! Also if we were to sign another winger he could move over to the centre of the three.

Would be another great surprise if he was announced as a signing before the game tonight! When they said that Pompey had made a signing before the Brighton game i thought it might of been this Erik guy.
