Pompey predictions league update #2

Pompey predictions league update #2

The Pompey predictions league continued at the weekend with Pompey losing our first nopower game of the season at Fratton against Brighton.

Again there was a good turnout, with a few more new faces again...

After this game, and a prediction of a 1-0 defeat, PompeyFrippy collects 14pts to take the lead.

Still early days but this is how top 3, of over 40 at present, currently stands:

    Duo sign professional Pompey deals

Will Jez Bedford and Theo Widdrington be the future Pompey midfield? We'll certainly hope so, clearly the Blues do too or they wouldn't have signed professional deals at Fratton Park.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.

Main man for Pompey? I wouldn't think so

Harsh? Maybe, but do I really feel ex-Middlesbrough, Doncaster and Oldham forward Main will be in Pompey's 1st team, becoming a key member of Jackett's starting XI? Well, no.
