Quite a few here for me - Norwich, Swindon, Oxford (my first sight of Pompey in the top flight!), Man U and Fulham (when I was a guest of the club along with Rug and Chix!). Five games and no wins - are we always slow starters?

Ummm, no wins. Was there for the 3-3 against Bristol City. Whittingham hatrick but Paul Walsh was brilliant that day. And the home games with Mancs & Fulham in the recent years.

Out-of-contract at the County Ground, Thompson was offered a new deal at Swindon but opted to end to his Robins career after League One relegation. He signed a two year deal at Pompey.

With Burgess, Clarke and Whatmough ahead of him Davies' chances at Pompey are limited, especially if Swindon's Thompson completes move to Fratton Park - Davies could join Tranmere?
