Story of the 2011/12 season...Boro v Pompey

Regulars to Vital Pompey will remember that last season an account of each game attended was written by myself, or other members of this site, to be shared with others.

I 'think' that it was only Derby (a) that was not covered, league and cup, so that is not bad going is it!

Well, throughout the 2011/12 season Vital Pompey would like to run a 'story of the season diary' again, but for this your help is needed...

This is basically a game-by-game account of the match itself and the journey/experience undertaken on the day of the person(s) viewing it.

As such we are looking for volunteers for each game...

More than one account is of course welcomed, so it is not limited to just one member's views, and technically if you can do a good enough account - even if not in attendance - this would be considered.

I will be doing all home games, and some away, so can chip in with plenty if needed, although I would appreciate it if others got more heavily involved in this and if we could share them around even better - so will be looking for volunteers for each game!

First up we have Boro, I am not going to this one, so if anyone going to The Riverside tomorrow fancies writing an account of the day they have it would be ideal.

Step forward and let me know with a comment below, an email on this addy (portsmouth@vitalfootball.co.uk) and/or a comment in the forum on this thread - here...

Please put yourself forward and offer up your musings to share with the Pompey community this season.
