Fan banter - Boro v Pompey

Vital Football caries the slogan 'for the fans by the fans', and as such we cannot forget the importance of fan participation - both on Vital Pompey and Vital in general.

As such it is 'vital' that, I feel, we do all we can to try and actively seek fan participation, from all fans, and what better way to do this than to invite our next opponents to get involved in answering some questions for us, and also for them to put their own to us!

This weekend Pompey travel to The Riverside take on Boro as the nopower season kicks-off, so if members of Vital Boro would be so kind to go into the Vital Pompey forum (on this link) and answer the questions that would be ideal.

Should any Boro fans have any questions they want to ask us then fire away and I am sure we will.

Let the banter - remember this is 'banter' and not abuse - begin!

Match day live

Vital Pompey's 'match day live' will run for this game also, so join others on Vital Pompey as it unfolds - assuming you are not at it of course!

Done Deal - Smith in permanently from Swindon

The interest Pompey retained in Smith, with him 'in our sights' has resulted in him returning to the Blues on a permanent basis after signing for an 'undisclosed fee' from Swindon.

    Cushioning the blow

Much, that needed saying, about Webster's exit for Ipswich and the arrival of Clarke in return (and cash) has been said hasn't it? Doyle's been spot on with what he said.

    Swindon striker in 'Pompey's sights'

Michel Smith, who was of course on loan last season, could return? He's still in 'Pompey's sights' by all accounts after Swindon informed him he's 'surplus to requirements' now.
