'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hermann's coming back

The ever-increasing 'rumours' appear to be true.

A return to Pompey for 'one more year' has been agreed for The Herminator.

Weekend, and early week, reports were saying that a new 12-month contract had finally been agreed and Steve Cotterill, talking in The News, has confirmed as much.

The veteran, soon to be 37 I think, will be back in training having signed the new contract by the end of the week.

Love it! Can't imagine a Pompey team without Herman. I think he is fab! He needs a new handbag tho - he wore the old one out last year whilst the ref wasn't looking!

He is great to watch wind up the opposition. I like the way within the first few minutes of any match he has already decided on his 'target' and spends the next 90 torturing them! His innocent shrug of the shoulders any time the ref starts chatting to him has become a bit of a trademark now as well!
