The official site called it a 'rain lashed affair', I'm not sure that does it justice, but after being brought down in the area Svetoslav Todorov pulled up his socks and slotted home the resulting penalty after 15 minutes to not only give Pompey reserves an early lead, but secure the win.
It wasn't a great game by any stretch of the imagination, Pompey ran most of the first half and Norwich were more potent in the second yet never really looked a threat.
A fair result in most senses.
