Woan departs. Betis to Fratton? Player(s) arrive?

Woan departs. Betis to Fratton? Player(s) arrive?

To all intend and purpose this was something that happened some time again now, the end of last week was it, but the departure of Ian Woan has now been officially confirmed.

The coach has left to join up with his close friend Sean Dyce at Watford as his no.2.

There is nothing confirmed by PFC although The News reports that Spanish outfit Real Betis have announced that they are coming to Fratton at the end of the month for a pre-season friendly?

Chelski come to Fratton mid month, we then fly out to America, upon our return our pre-season plans are wrapped up - assuming this game goes ahead I would think it would be our last friendly - against the Spanish outfit on 30th July.

Now, I do wonder what news today will bring...

What with free agents now officially free agents today, so will we see any come in?

Well, apart from 'Chuck', his free transfer arrival from Ipswich will today be 100% officially confirmed anyway but will others join him?

Fingers crossed, it is almost exciting at the moment, not really knowing what is going on, we are making additions, which so far have been pleasantly suprising, it is so nice to not have doom and gloom stories all of the time, my cup is now half full!

I find the current ownership and management of our club so pleasing and professional compared to the "Storrie" news releases of the past and the "HR" rants. Long may it continue.
