Kick-off times for derbies changed

Kick-off times for derbies changed

The kick-off times for the home and away meetings with Scum have been changed to 1pm, as has the Boxing Day trip to Millwall.

Changes to kick-off times were announced today on The Pompey Site: 'Pompey's two Championship games against Southampton next season have been moved to a 1pm kick-off.

'The switch has been made following discussions between the clubs and police.
Southampton visit Fratton Park on Saturday, December 17.

'The return fixture is at St Mary's on Easter Saturday, April 7.

'Pompey's trip to Millwall on Boxing Day has also been rescheduled for a 1pm kick-off.
'

I would be amazed if the games with Scum, at least the first one, are not picked up for TV coverage so if these 1pm kick-off times stay in place - even with the police advice - remains to be seen...

As far as I am aware no schedules have been announced yet, so does anyone know when this will happen?

Sky are probably waiting to see who signs who before deciding which games they think with be the best. But I agree that both the Pompey v Southampton games are likely to be changed again to accommodate SKY

That means I'll definitely miss it, my flight lands at 1430 on the Saturday. Why couldn't they move it to the Sunday, just for me!

With Burgess, Clarke and Whatmough ahead of him Davies' chances at Pompey are limited, especially if Swindon's Thompson completes move to Fratton Park - Davies could join Tranmere?
