More Bad News!

Nothing but bad news for Pompey fans today!

First up came Lua Lua, who has been quoted in every newspaper as saying how disgusted he is with the offer made by Portsmouth to him.

He said, 'I am fed up and I have had enough.

'I just want to be paid what I am worth.

'I have been trying to negotiate a new deal since the end of the season, but the club have left it until now to talk when others have been busy signing new contracts.

'I love it at Portsmouth and love the fans. Of course I don't want to leave but it is not up to me anymore.

'All I want is what I think is fair.'

He was quoted in the Mirror as saying that Portsmouth had been sending videos of him to clubs in Spain. We obviously want to keep him otherwise we wouldn`t have offered him a contract. Lua Lua who has become a fan`s favourite now looks likely to leave the club.

So many fans where devastated by this news however there was worse to come. Pompey target Fernandes, who had taken a medical yesterday, has returned home. The player apparently has an old injury and Portsmouth are not willing to take a risk with such a big fee being paid for the player.

The club said, 'Manuel Fernandes is going back to Portugal to have further medical tests.
'Portsmouth will reassess the situation in a month's time.'

Will we ever sign anyone?

blimey - with all the money in the club, the contacts that Harry has, I can't believe the bad luck you're having getting players in!

its because harrys being a jew pennypincher and not spending the extra mil on players such as petrov for the club, sasha will get bored of him by september

It does make you think we've p****d off someone up there, but we'll get our targets... eventually. Fernandes is a devistating blow, but not a devistating as it would have been had we'd spent the £10m first...

The only way Gaydamark will be bored of Redknapp is if he doesn't deliver in the long term on the pitch after what will eventually be such a large investment transfer fee wise

Debut delight...kind of!

It wasn't a result, and in many ways a performance, for Sheff United loanee Freeman to remember too fondly as he didn't really have a great game against Orient? Then again who did!

Tubbs has left the building

Tubbs has finally left Pompey; perhaps his destination is something of a surprise then again there had been some 'rumours' recently of an Eastleigh interest.
