Fixtures released! Pompey start at Boro

Fixtures released! Pompey start at Boro

Its that time, a time that we all eagerly await - the announcement of the forthcoming fixtures!

With these being revealed today we now know where we start, where we finish and what happens in-between.

Before I go any further those that are long-term viewers of Vital Pompey will know that we, and other online sites, are hampered by the fact that the greedy money men at the premier league, football league etc. will not allow us to publish the full fixture list when this time comes! Despite the fact we all plough so much money into the game, and they expect us to part with so much as well, if we want to actually publish the complete fixture list we have to also pay for that...

So, limited mentions of fixtures can be made in this article I am afraid folks!

What we do know is that we start away against Boro on the opening weekend and we finish away at Forest.

Scum come to Fratton in December and we go to them in April.

That really is about as much as I can say about the fixtures I am afraid although you will all know that you can view these on The Pompey Site, BBC, sky sports etc.

What fixture was the one that first caught your eye then?

Now, when do you reckon we will find out about our first fixture change...
