No embargo? Lets crack on then!

No embargo? Lets crack on then!

The weekend talk brought fresh 'rumours' of another transfer embargo possibly coming the way due to the ongoing dispute with Tal Ben Haim over unpaid wages.

Disappointingly for me, given the views sought over the weekend on the very subject of the official website, The News - and not The Pompey Site - was the place that David Lampitt decided to announce that there is no embargo in place, nor will there be.

I will not dwell on this, that or the other the only thing I need/want to say now really is lets get some bodies in then if that is the case!

Another thing that Lampitt spoke about was Steve Cotterill, insisting that no approach had been made from Birmingham for him nor were PFC expecting, or inviting, any...

Hope Lampitt is talking the truth, a lot of minds at rest then.

If it wasn't for Lampitt, I would be thinking - DE JA VU! But I do trust Lampitt - and so I shall sit here and wait.... and wait.... and wait.... Something I have become very good at since following the fortunes (or otherwise) of PFC.

Softly, softly catchee monkey. No use announcing to the greed grabbers we're in the market for x, y or z. Like BC before, CSI will be looking after their investment and know that to do that they need a squad. If it was my club I wouldn't be worrying about the fans impatience at this moment in time but concentrating on the future of the club.

I cannot believe people actually fell for the dross, it was a wholly made up bit of complete tosh created by the news.

I think it is good for DL to come out and dispell the 'News story'. To be fair they have said all along that until there was any positive news the Club would not release anything. I just like every other fan want to see things moving and I would love to think that CSI would hold a press conference and explani their intentions for both short, meduim and long term in the very near future. It is encouraging to know that they have at last sat down with DL and SC, they will be sorting things out behind the scene. Reckon we will announce at least three signings by the weekend.

Evans - Right back or right midfield?

Drew Talbot and Adam Buxton are fit but Gareth Evans continues to fill in at right back. Should this change? If so where would it leave the battle between Evans and Carl Baker?
